In recent years, biologists have recognized that birds engage in play. Juvenile Common Ravens are among the most playful of bird species. They have been observed to slide down snowbanks, apparently purely for fun. They even engage in games with other species, such as playing catch-me-if-you-can with wolves, otters and dogs.^[77] Common Ravens are known for spectacular aerobatic displays, such as flying in loops or interlocking talons with each other in flight.^[78][79]

They are also one of only a few wild animals who make their own toys. They have been observed breaking off twigs to play with socially.

I had the privilege of seeing the band perform 4 of the new songs live this past Saturday and it was so great!  They did an amazing job on the whole album, and I am really loving the 3 bonus tracks I got late last night with my itunes deluxe edition!  I now own 3 copies of Go!

AAAHHHH I am totally freakin’ out and fangirling and I cannot wait for tomorrow!  Tomorrow my favorite band Motion City Soundtrack is playing at the Electric Fetus, a totally FREE show, and I am going!  My little brother, who introduced me to the band right after they released I Am The Movie, and I are going to leave our little homes in the woods up north here right after he gets off work at 5am and head down the the big city.  Last night at work we were discussing our game plan and he told me to find out if the show tomorrow was going to be an acoustic set.  That’s what we were thinking it would be, since it is such a small venue.  So I came home tonight and tweeted at each member of the band asking them if the show would be acoustic or full on rockin’ goodness.  Within 5 minutes I had an answer.  How freakin’ cool is that!  It’s gonna be so much fun! I only wish we could stay for the signing after the show.  I bought a poster that I had hoped I could get signed,  but my brother was unable to get the night off from work so he has to be back at the casino at 7pm.  Oh hopefully there will be another show near home some time soon that I can linger at a while.  The only other concert I have ever been to in my entire 30 years of existence was a MCS show, and we didn’t have the opportunity to hang around after then either.  Maybe, if I am REALLY lucky and since we are showing up so early to ensure good spots, I can get them to sign before the show.  Nah, they’ll probably be busy.  But a girl can hope, can’t she?  :)  Hope to see you at the show!
